Že jsem se konečně stala šťastnou majitelkou sady doplňkových knih ze světa Harry Pottera, už není žádnou novinkou. Nedávno jsem vydala článek o Fantastických zvířatech a teď jsem dočetla Bajky barda Beedleho. Trochu jsem měla představu, do čeho jdu, pokoušela jsem se je číst krátce po té, co jsem odložila Tajemnou komnatu.

Krásně zapadají do čarodějnické série. Bajky pocházejí z pozůstalosti zesnulého ředitele Bradavic, který je opatřil poznámkami a z původních run je přeložila Hermiona. Málokdy se mi v knihách líbí obrázky. Většinou mě ruší od čtení a vnucují mi, jak si mám jednotlivé scény představovat. tentokrát jsem proti ilustracím nic neměla, přenesly mě do temného středověku a přiblížily mi tak období, ve kterém se všech pět příběhů odehrává. Za mě tedy naprostá spokojenost.

I rarely like pictures in my books. Mostly they cancel me from reading and force me to imagine the scenes. this time I did not have anything against the illustrations, they took me to the dark Middle Ages and brought me closer to the period in which all five stories are taking place. For me, then, total satisfaction.
